ELKHART COUNTY
Elkhart County’s suicide rate is above both the national and state average. The Coalition has data from 2000 through 2010. Consider the following facts about suicide in Elkhart County:
* Average rate of suicide is 17 for the years 2000 to 2010.
* Of the 184 suicides,
o 16% are in the 12-24 age bracket
o 42% are in the 25-46 age bracket
o 31% are in the 47-65 age bracket
o 11% are in the 66-85 age bracket

COALITION MEETINGS
Meetings are on the 4th Wednesday each month, 8:30am, at the Health Department, Lincoln Center at 608 Oakland, Ave, Elkhart. Click here for a map.
